COVID-19
Guidelines
**Latest Update 6/15 – ALL services are now available for booking! Please continue to read below as restrictions are still in place. Masks must still be worn upon entry and can only be removed for services needing to do so.**
I’m back! Well…kind of. Per the Governor’s new orders I am allowed to open my doors starting June 1st. I am very excited for the opportunity to have you in my treatment room once again! With this new mandate, however, there are new protocols (hopefully not for long) that will change your experience with me. Please take the time to read this to ensure you are aware of all the changes to better prepare for your upcoming appointment. Please understand that this has been an extremely stressful and trying time for me both professionally and personally and I ask for your continued patience and kindness as I try to navigate a new way of operating business.
Per the new mandate I am not able to offer facial services. Period. What this means: I cannot perform any services that require you, the client, to remove your mask (which is a MUST – covering both the nose and mouth when in my establishment). If you come in w/o a mask one will be provided for you (while supplies last). Services currently being offered are full body waxing (yes that means brows!) and tinting. For a full list of services please refer to the Vagaro app. If you have yet to download the app I highly recommend you do so as it is more user friendly than going through the web. If you need help logging into your account please don’t hesitate to reach out and I will be happy to send you your log in information.
These first appointments for reopening MUST be booked online. As some of you have already noticed there are liability waivers, specifically COVID related, that need to be filled out prior to your appointment. *That waiver will be resigned and dated day of appointment.* That being said if you are experiencing any of the symptoms listed below please DO NOT book an appointment until at least 10 days have passed since symptoms first appeared AND at least 3 days (72 hours) have passed since recovery (recovery is defined as resolution of fever, off any fever reducing medications plus improvement in other symptoms).
*cough
*shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
*fever
*chills
*muscle pain
*sore throat
*new loss of taste or smell
This list is not all inclusive. Other less common symptoms have been reported, including gastrointestinal symptoms like nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea.
When arriving for your appointment you must not have any of the above symptoms (or any new symptoms reported by the CDC), had contact with an individual who has shown signs of the above symptoms w/i the past 14 days, been around anyone with confirmed COVID w/i the last 14 days, traveled in the past 14 days either internationally, by cruise ship or domestically (within the U.S.) outside of NH, VT or ME on public transportation (e.g., bus, train, plane, etc.). If I believe you are showing any symptoms of COVID or illness I reserve the right to refuse service and cancellation policies will be strictly enforced. This is not meant to be unkind in any way but instead to ensure the safety of all clients and family members, both yours and mine, as well as allowing time for those who are symptom free and have been patiently awaiting appointments. If you feel unwell the day of your appointment please contact me ASAP.
Per the guidelines:
A mask must be worn as mentioned above. If you do not have a mask and I am unable to provide you with one you will not be allowed entrance into the studio and your appointment will be rescheduled and cancellation fees will apply.
Clients cannot outweigh the number of staff. Please come alone to your appointment. For the mother/daughter duos that come in unfortunately one of you will have to wait on the second floor of the lobby or in the car until we swap.
That does mean my reception/retail area is currently closed only to be utilized for checkout.
Please do not arrive early to your appointment as to ensure there is only one client in the studio at a time and you will be escorted right into the treatment room.
I am unable to offer water as that would require removal of your mask. Please refrain from bringing food or beverages.
Upon entering the studio there will be tissues, hand sanitizer and disinfecting wipes for your convenience. There are multiple bathrooms for hand washing prior to entrance and hand sanitizer will be mandatory upon arrival. Please refrain from touching your face after sanitation.
Product testers have been removed but I am happy to assist you with sampling. If you want/need product please reach out prior to your appointment or let me know during service as I will be the one to grab them from the shelves for you.
To ensure your safety I will be following all CDC and NH Board of Barbering, Cosmetology and Esthetics guidelines by implementing the above as well as wearing the mandatory PPE. Per my normal standards of operation all my tools, implements and workstation will be fully sanitized and disinfected before and after each guest including door handles, etc and a full sweep at the end of the day.
*The cost of service has greatly increased due to sanitation needs and safety mandates, therefore, there will be a minimal fee added on to your total. This will be listed as a retail item, PPE.
Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions, trouble with your account or skin related issues. Product pick-ups and virtual facials have worked out great thus far and I will continue to offer those services.
While I am excited to open I am navigating a “new normal”. I don’t have the same business I did 2 months ago. As much as I would love to hug you and catch up I will be limiting the amount of talking, this is nothing personal. With the PPE I am anticipating being very uncomfortable and hot. Stay tuned for a social media selfie in my gear 😉
I apologize for the long email and the new look of the studio, sigh.
I am so incredibly thankful for the amazing support and love from you all during my closure and as I prepare to open!
Stay safe, stay healthy and I will see you very soon!!
